Major Orthopedic Stem Cell Treatment

Arthritis of the shoulder, hip and knee is a significant problem in our society. This disease leads to major disability and loss of function, in addition to other co-morbidities like obesity and diabetes. Orthopedic surgeons treat these problems with physical therapy, medications and sometimes steroid injections. Sometimes they have to recommend replacing the entire joint with an artificial one.

More Information

At the Northern California Stem Cell Treatment Center, we treat patients with these issues (in conjunction with their orthopedic surgeon) with installation of their own (autologous) stem cells.

Using these cells, given both throughout the body and directly into the affected joint, may improve healing and avoid or delay the need for major reconstructive surgery.
